There are subtle clues that let you know the owner of this home loves and enjoys life in the country and that they cleverly created a space to make the most of sharing time with friends and family.
If you love life in the countryside you will know that muddy puddles attract three things: wellies, children and dogs!
Coming home post puddle encounter can be challenging so when, like the owners of this home did, you have the chance to redesign and extend where you live, it makes sense to plan creatively, to make the decisions that work so well here.
Here you have a utility/boot room with external stable door, next to it a wet room; perfect!
Entertaining and spending time in the garden are both hugely important and so the redesign also created a stunning open plan living/dining/kitchen space and connected it all seamlessly to the garden.
Upstairs a wonderful main bedroom offers space, wardrobes, storage and a strikingly stylish and sensibly spacious en suite.
Downstairs you find three more bedrooms and a bathroom (we love the floor tiles!) and of course the wet room and utility/boot room we already mentioned.
How you choose to use rooms is entirely up to you, you may choose a bedroom as a study but remember, outside you have a great office space, once a garage and then a fantastic garden office was also built, currently starring as a gym it can be so many things!
Life here will make full use of the family room, will naturally spill out onto the broad patio and will have you finding ways to enjoy the different areas that have been created around the garden, a place that takes on extra charm of an evening as the sun sinks and the lights come on.
There is plenty of parking to the front of the home, just how many cars you can fit on, we'll let you judge but we can see how five cars can easily be accommodated.
Chart Sutton is a small village surrounded by countryside with pleasant walks to enjoy. From here you can easily get to Sutton Valence (well known for its school), Headcorn, Coxheath, Maidstone, Leeds Castle and just past there onto Junction 8 of the M20 you can access so much of Kent and further afield.
There are several train stations that are reasonably easy to access depending upon your journey inclination and if you like country pubs, you can walk to the Plough at Five Wents, around twenty minutes and a car will unlock countless destinations to explore for evening meals and Sunday lunches.
Somthing to also note: As part of the project to create the home you know see, underfloor heating was installed in the living/dining/kitchen area, air conditioning installed for the main bedroom upstairs (after the summer of 2022 that is definitely a good thing), the property was rewired and a new gas boiler installed.
This is a very special home and we will enjoy showing you around.
