A home that defies preconceptions! That's one way to describe this lovely extended semi, in a short sentence. It certainly isn't ordinary and, as our client admits, she was so glad she did come and look when she had at first hesitated. 'I almost wanted to prove people wrong, to show them it wouldn't suit me, instead I fell in love as soon as I walked through the door.'
Everyone will see something different here that is special for them, it may be that view from the garden, it may be the way the living room stretches out, or the practicality of the utility room added to the kitchen. For some it may be the garage, a lovely place to put a car and have as extra storage or a workshop as well. For others it may be the way upstairs works, the third bedroom has built in wardrobes and so doubles up as an office and a dressing room. Fitted wardrobes are also a nice feature in the main bedroom, along with an en suite WC, the one thing our client felt was missing when she moved here. The bathroom downstairs has proved to be nicer than she first thought, easy for visiting guests and better than trying to squeeze into some cloakrooms that are squished under stairs.
It is very much a home about convenience and practicality, there are shops just around the corner, an easy walk with a Costcutter, hairdressers and take-aways. There is gas central heating, the boiler out of the way in the loft and double glazing meaning you have the things you expect. The gas fire in the sitting room makes for a lovely focal point.
The garden is somewhere that has provided lots of good times, there is a wonderful view across to the far hillside and we can imagine whiling away time here with friends must be fantastic, especially as the sun lowers over the horizon and the sky captures those wonderful colours we all long to see.

Finding the home was an unexpected delight, living here has been wonderful and it is only one of those lovely changes in life that is prompting a move, we're sure the next home our client finds will be equally as lovely but we can't guarantee the sunsets will be so easy to enjoy.
